Description

Annashae Healthcare Staffing is currently filling a W2 Contract position available with our client in Sidney, MT for an opportunity as a Registered Nurses Operating Room.

Start: 06/24/2026 - 09/23/2026
Shift: Days

Sidney, MT offers a unique opportunity for travel nurses with its proximity to the stunning Makoshika State Park. On your days off, explore the park's rugged badlands and take a hike through its fascinating dinosaur fossil sites. Enjoy the quiet beauty of Montana's landscapes.

Minimum Requirements:

Registered Nurses License for MT or Compact as applicable
Applicable recent experience in this Operating Room work setting
Commitment to quality care and adherence to legal and client protocols
Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS
Equipment/Procedures: OR, PACU
Weekend/Call: Call = Required
Experience: 2 years

Pros

Hospital staff is very friendly to travel staff, unit staff can be much more guarded. The physicians, NP, Pharmacists and Clinic staff are very knowledgeable. Communication between departments can be broken with infusion. Top notch equipment and supplies. Clean environment. Dietary always willing to accommodate the needs of the patients. Lab staff always helpful, pleasant and inviting.

Cons

High probability that Friday 1/2 day shift will not be supported by on-site clinician. Non-chemo patients not supported. Often times PCP not reachable. Flow of patients can be unpredictable at times. Potential for patients remaining in department after operating hours with minimal support staff.
