Minimum Requirements:

• Allied Health License for AK or Compact as applicable
• Applicable recent experience in this work setting
• Minimum Experience varies by Profession and setting.
• Commitment to quality care and adherence to client legal and protocols
• Certifications: Must be licensed in good standing in Alaska as an OT or have a good-standing license of Occupational Therapy in another state and awaiting licensure in Alaska. Must also hold a current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Current BLS.
• Equipment/Procedures: Hospital based: Standard Occupational Therapy Department environment includes hi-lo table, therapeutic exercise equipment, ultrasound and electric stimulation modalities, ADL training room (includes bathroom and kitchen). Village-based: Usually a treatment table is provided. Therapist brings out what is needed for patient care (theraband, exercise programs, etc.).
