Job Description
Join a supportive clinical team in Chanute, KS, as a Med-Surg Registered Nurse delivering high-quality patient care during night shifts with manageable 4:1 to 5:1 patient ratios. In this 13-week assignment, your daily workflow includes managing adult medical and surgical patients, performing assessments, administering medications, and documenting care in Cerner, with potential 3-in-a-row block scheduling available. Requirements
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) setting

Active Kansas (KS) RN License or Compact/Multi-State License in good standing

Active AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification

Flexibility to float within clinical scope to meet facility operational needs

Essential clinical competencies in adult Med-Surg care, medication administration, care planning, and basic pediatric overflow stabilization (e.g., Croup, RSV)

Preferred Qualifications
Experience assisting with patient infusion workflows

Proficiency with the Cerner EHR system

Previous travel contract experience in a community hospital setting
