In this full-time role, you will work alongside skilled physical therapists to manage patient loads ranging from General Med and ICU to Joint Replacements. Requirements
Proven recent experience as an Occupational Therapist in an acute care or hospital clinical setting (no first-time travelers)
Active Kansas (KSBHA) Occupational Therapist License
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy and AHA BLS Certification
Unit flexibility to support patient care across General Med, Neuro, Ortho, Cardiac, Respiratory, Trauma, Surgical, ICU, and Joint Replacement units
Essential Day 1 clinical competencies in chart review, acute care patient evaluations, safely transferring patients with lines and drains, and maintaining a target workload of 7–8 patients per shift
Preferred Qualifications
Active NBCOT (OTR) Certification
Technical proficiency with Epic EMR charting software
Previous travel contract experience in an acute care hospital environment
