Job Description
Join a supportive, tight-knit team at a rural Critical Access Hospital where you will cross-train and care for patients across both Obstetrics and Medical-Surgical units. This role features a steady night-shift schedule with manageable patient ratios (1:1 for OB and an average of 1:3 for MedSurg) and dedicated facility-sponsored duplex housing options. Requirements

Recent documented experience in both OB and MedSurg within a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting

Active Kansas (KS) state nursing license or Compact/Multi-State License

Active AHA certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and Fetal Heart Certification

Full flexibility to float between MedSurg and OB based on daily patient census

Essential clinical competency in standard OB/MedSurg workflows and willingness to occasionally accept charge duties

Preferred Qualifications

Prior travel nursing contract experience

Technical proficiency with CPSI and Perigen charting systems

Annual flu vaccination (or approved medical/religious exemption)
