Requirements

Recent clinical experience in Emergency Room (ER) and Medical-Surgical (MedSurg) settings

Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License

Active AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications

Flexibility to float seamlessly between ER triage and MedSurg floor assignments based on unit census and acuity

Day 1 essential clinical competencies: Emergency triage, rapid patient stabilization, MedSurg care delivery, and multi-acuity patient management (typical ratios 1:3, max 5:1)

Preferred Qualifications

3+ years of recent clinical experience in ER and MedSurg units (open to first-time travelers)

Hands-on clinical experience with Athena EMR system

Previous Critical Access Hospital (CAH) background
