Travel PACU / PreOp RN - Great Bend, KS

Job Description
Join an energetic clinical team in Great Bend, KS, as a PACU and PreOp Registered Nurse supporting patients through pre-procedural preparation and post-anesthesia recovery. In this day-shift role, your daily workflow includes conducting pre-op evaluations, managing post-anesthesia airway recovery, monitoring sedation, and coordinating safe patient discharges across varied day shifts. Requirements
1+ year of recent clinical experience in PACU and PreOp settings

Active Kansas (KS) RN License or Compact/Multi-State License

Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications

Unit stability with no floating required outside of PACU/PreOp

Essential clinical competencies in pre-op assessments, post-anesthesia airway management, Phase I and Phase II recovery care, and acute post-op monitoring

Preferred Qualifications
Previous travel nursing contract experience

CPAN (Certified Post Anesthesia Nurse) or CAPA (Certified Ambulatory Perianesthesia Nurse) certifications

Proficiency with perioperative electronic health record (EHR) documentation systemsExperience Preferred: Previous travel experience
License/ Certification Requirements: KS RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS

Level 1 Job ID #38465007. Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
