Requirements

2 years of recent experience in Critical Care (ICU) or Emergency Department (ED)

Active Kansas RN License or Compact/Multi-State RN License

Active AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

Flexibility to float across ICU and inpatient units (Med/Surg, Med/Tele, Acute/Tele, and ED based on background)

Day 1 essential competencies: BiPAP management, chest tubes, PICC lines, lab draws, running own codes, calling own consults, and handling Day 2/Day 3 post-open-heart patients with pacer wires without a vascular access team

Holiday availability (must work one holiday per group: Thanksgiving Eve/Day, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day)

Preferred Qualifications

Previous travel nursing contract experience in stepdown, PCU, or ICU settings

Proven background in independent clinical decision-making and rapid response/code scenarios

Broad experience floating across diverse acute care and emergency units
