Travel RN CVICU - Wichita, KS

Job Description
Join an elite critical care team at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita, KS for a rewarding 13-week contract. In this high-acuity 20-bed Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU), you will manage complex post-operative cardiac and thoracic surgery patients alongside a strong multidisciplinary team. Requirements

2+ years of recent experience in a CVICU or ICU setting managing cardiac surgical patients

Active Kansas (KS) State License or Compact/Multi-State License

Active Certifications: AHA BLS, AHA ACLS

Floating flexibility to aligned critical care units as needed by the facility

Day 1 essential competencies in post-op open heart care, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, ventilator management, and vasoactive drip titration

Preferred Qualifications

Procedural experience managing specialized cardiac devices including IABP, Impella, or CRRT

Technical background in high-volume post-CABG, valve replacement, and complex thoracic surgical care

Previous travel nursing contract experience in a high-acuity critical care unit

Level 1 Job ID #ASC-46966. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
