Tele ICU Tech
Barnes-Jewish Hospital | Full-Time
Are you passionate about healthcare, tech-savvy, and a strong team player? Join our Tele Critical Care team and help support the remote monitoring of ICU patients across the BJC HealthCare system.
What You'll Do
- Monitor and maintain ICU patient census and surveillance systems.
- Review patient charts, lab results, and clinical data.
- Enter and manage patient information in Tele ICU applications.
- Support critical care nurses and physicians with real-time patient monitoring.
- Communicate with bedside teams to ensure continuous patient surveillance and quality care.
Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Shift - 0600-1830 and 1800-0630
Preferred:
- Administrative or healthcare experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Associate degree in Allied Health or related field
- Strong computer and communication skills

Role Purpose
Provide support to critical care nurses and physicians in the remote care of ICU patient populations across the BJC System. Enables the critical care team to provide immediate care and surveillance to ICU level admissions through rapid waveform detection, medical record review, admission into Tele ICU platform. Reviews and documents laboratory data, ventilator data, and compliance of best practice protocols of care directed at improved outcomes. Collaborates with the bedside support teams (unit clerks and monitor techs) to ensure life saving devices are appropriately applied and reviewed.
