Description
Schedule: Weekend and Monday on-call coverage
Saturday Call: 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Sunday Call: 8:00 a.m.–10:00 p.m.
Monday Call: 5:00 p.m.–5:00 a.m.
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours of pay per week, regardless of whether the technologist is called in or how many hours are worked
Call Response Time: Must be able to arrive at the facility within 30 minutes of being called
Housing Requirement: Housing must be located within the required 30-minute response area
Required Experience: Minimum 3 years of independent pediatric echocardiography experience
Required Certifications: Pediatric echocardiography credential through ARDMS or CCI—RDCS(PE) or RCS-PE
Required Clinical Skills: Independent pediatric echo scanning, pediatric cardiac anatomy, complex congenital heart disease, and cardiac surgical repairs
Critical Care Experience: Must be confident scanning independently in neonatal and pediatric intensive care units
Preferred Experience: Fetal echocardiography
Patient Population: Pediatric patients, including critically ill neonatal and pediatric patients
Additional Experience: Family-centered pediatric care
Required Systems Experience: EPIC experience within the past 2 years; this requirement is mandatory
