Description
• Shift: 8-hour evening shift, 40 hours per week
• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
• Weekends: On-call approximately once every eight weekends; may include an onsite shift
• On Call: Weekend call approximately every eight weeks, plus participation in the first-shift backup call rotation
• Call Hours: Weekend night call is 9:00 p.m.–6:30 a.m.; backup call is 6:30 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
• Call Response Time: 30 minutes
• Holiday Requirements: None
• Facility: 933-bed Level II Trauma Center, Level III NICU, and Primary Stroke Center
• Department Details: Advanced MRI department with six scanners, five currently operating, performing cardiac, functional, neurological, body, musculoskeletal, and specialty imaging
• Weekly Volume: Approximately 250–300 patients
• Required Experience: 3 years of MRI experience
• Required Certifications: BLS and either ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT
• Required Skills: Experience with inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department imaging; implantable devices, neuro, oncology, musculoskeletal, ventilated, sedated, and whole-body patients
• Preferred Skills: Cardiac MRI experience
• Required Equipment Experience: GE and Siemens MRI equipment, including GE Discovery 750W, Siemens Aera, and Siemens Magnetom Skyra
• Patient Ratio: 1:1
• Documentation Systems: EPIC and McKesson PACS experience required
• Floating: None; MRI department only
