Description
• Shift: Three 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Shift Hours: 7:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
• Weekends: Every other weekend
• On Call: None
• Holiday Requirements: Yes
• Facility: 337-bed hospital with a Level III NICU, Chest Pain Center, and Stroke Center; no trauma designation
• Department Volume: More than 300 patients per day
• Required Experience: Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Traveler Experience: First-time travelers accepted
• Required Certifications/Licenses: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, RRT or CRT credential, and active North Carolina respiratory care license
• Patient Population: Adult and neonatal patients; no general pediatric population at the primary facility
• Required Skills: Critical care, CVICU, NICU, emergency department, progressive care, and general floor respiratory therapies
• Department Support: Respiratory care leadership and respiratory therapy staff
• Documentation System: EPIC
• Technology/Equipment: Servo-i, Servo-U, and Servo-air ventilators; Trilogy; ResMed AirCurve; high-flow systems; Airvo; NOxBOX; and bubble CPAP
