Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Registered Nurse for a travel assignment with a reputable hospital system in Wilmington, North Carolina. First-time travelers are welcome!
Assignment Highlights
• Up to $3,025/week*
• Start: September 28, 2026
• Contract: 20 weeks
• Schedule: 4×12 Nights, 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
• 48 hours/week
• Patient ratio: 1:6
• Every other weekend
• Self-scheduling
• No call
• First-time travelers accepted
• Floating required
Required Qualifications
• 2+ years of RN experience – hard requirement
• BLS and NIHSS
• Med/Surg and MS/Tele experience
• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Remote telemetry monitoring
• Heparin, insulin and PCA
• Blood product administration
• Central, PICC and peripheral line management
• IV starts and phlebotomy
• Chest tubes
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
• Wound/Wound Vac care
• Comfortable with 1:6 ratios
Preferred: ACLS, Epic, charge experience, on-unit telemetry, IV insulin protocols, CVA, post-MI/post-cardiac experience, tracheostomy care and surgical drains.
You'll care for adult and geriatric patients with a broad range of conditions, including CHF, COPD, pneumonia, sepsis, diabetes, GI bleeds, renal failure, hip fractures and post-surgical recovery.
Important: EKG testing is required prior to start. Travelers must be willing to float to similar units, including another campus when needed, and must be available to work required holidays.
Up to $3,025/week may include taxable wages and applicable non-taxable travel stipends for qualified travelers. Actual compensation may vary based on eligibility, hours worked and final offer.
