Registered Nurse (RN) – Dialysis – VA | Miami, FL
$48-$55/hr | Local Contract

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking experienced Dialysis RNs for a contract opportunity supporting the Miami VA Medical Center.

IMPORTANT VA EDUCATION REQUIREMENT: To be eligible for this VA assignment, all RN nursing degrees held by the candidate, regardless of degree level (ASN/ADN, BSN, MSN, etc.), must be from nursing programs that were ACEN or CCNE accredited at the time of graduation.

Position Details
Location: Miami, FL Pay: $48-$55/hr
 Assignment: October 28, 2026 – May 11, 2027 
Type: Full-Time Local Contract
 Schedule: 10-hour Day| Shift: 6:30 AM–5:00 PM 
Weekends/Holidays: Required as scheduled 
Facility: Miami VA Medical Center

Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive dialysis nursing care to patients with ESRD, AKI, and late-stage CKD
* Provide hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis in acute and/or chronic care settings
* Perform dialysis treatments using fistulas, grafts, and venous catheters
* Assess and monitor patients throughout dialysis treatment
* Apply the nursing process in accordance with unit policies and nursing standards
* Maintain accurate clinical and dialysis treatment documentation
* Coordinate care and safe transitions with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
* Provide patient education and advocacy
* Participate in orientation, competencies, and quality-improvement activities
* Provide clinical guidance and education to other healthcare providers as appropriate

Requirements
* Minimum 3 years of nursing experience providing hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis
* Current, unrestricted RN license from any U.S. state
* Current American Heart Association BLS/CPR
* Current American Heart Association ACLS
* Experience caring for patients with ESRD, AKI, and late-stage CKD
* Experience with dialysis access including fistulas, grafts, and venous catheters
* RN nursing degrees must meet the ACEN/CCNE accreditation requirement stated above
* Availability for assigned shifts, weekends, and holidays

Note: An active RN license or passing the NCLEX alone does not satisfy the VA nursing education requirement.
