Travel MS/Tele Float RN – Wilmington, NC | Up to $2,245/Week | 3x12 Nights

Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced MS/Tele Float RN for a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Wilmington, North Carolina.

This position primarily supports a fast-paced ED Holding/EDIP unit caring for admitted patients waiting for inpatient beds. Nurses may care for both MS/Tele and PCU-level patients.

Assignment Details
Pay: Up to $2,245/week*
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 3x12 Nights
Shift: 6:45 PM–7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
MS/Tele Ratio: Approximately 1:6–7
PCU Ratio: Approximately 1:3–4
Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend
Travel Experience: Required
Orientation: 12 hours
No call required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Strong MS/Tele experience
Previous travel RN experience required
BLS required
NIHSS
Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
On-unit and remote telemetry monitoring
Rapid Response/Code Team experience
Heparin protocols
Blood product administration
PICC and peripheral line management
Phlebotomy
Chest tube management
BiPAP/CPAP and High Flow Nasal Cannula
ABG interpretation
Tracheostomy care
Renal failure patient care
Preferred Experience
PCU/Stepdown/IMC experience
ED Holding experience
CPI
CVA/Stroke
Pre/post neurosurgery

About the Assignment

This is not a traditional Med/Surg floor. The ED Holding/EDIP area cares for patients who have been admitted through the Emergency Department but are waiting for an inpatient bed.

Candidates should be comfortable working in a high-acuity, high-turnover environment and caring for patients with a broad range of adult medical-surgical diagnoses, including some PCU-level patients.
