Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Radiation Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Lubbock, Texas.
Assignment Details
Pay: Up to $3,145/week*
Start Date: September 21, 2026
Contract: 13 weeks
Schedule: 5x8 Days
Shift: 7:00 AM–3:00 PM
Hours: 40 hours/week
Patient Population: Primarily adults, with some pediatric patients
Travel Experience: Not required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Radiation Therapist experience
ARRT (R)
Texas Medical Board (TMB) license
BLS
Radiation safety
Experience in outpatient radiation oncology
Ability to work across multiple treatment modalities and equipment
Preferred Experience
CT Simulation
External Beam Radiation Therapy
IMRT
SBRT/SRS
Gamma Knife
Brachytherapy
Elekta Infinity or Versa HD
GE CT/Simulator
CBCT/kV/mV imaging
Treatment planning and image guidance
Teaching hospital experience

Radiation Therapists rotate across treatment modalities and equipment. The department utilizes Elekta linear accelerators, Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, C-arm fluoroscopy, and GE Discovery CT/Simulator.
The program offers a collaborative team environment with a strong focus on quality, safety, and patient-centered oncology care.
