Description
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse for a 20-week travel assignment with a reputable healthcare system in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Assignment Details
Location: Charlotte, NC
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Duration: 20 weeks
Openings: 8
Schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts
Shift: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
Hours: 36 hours/week
Estimated Weekly Pay: Up to $2,166/week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Travel Experience: Not required
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of ER experience
Current RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina
Epic experience required
ACLS
BLS
MOAB
NIHSS
PALS
TNCC preferred
Emergency triage experience
Cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
Ventilator patient care
Stroke/CVA experience
IV therapy, phlebotomy and blood product administration
Trauma experience preferred
ER Unit Highlights
This is a high-volume Adult Emergency Department caring for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
53-bed Emergency Department
Approximately 170 visits per day
Average daily census of approximately 174
1:4 RN-to-patient ratio on days and nights
STEMI and stroke patient population
Level III trauma patients
Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
Every-other-weekend coverage
1 pre-approved time-off request
24 hours of orientation
Extensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory therapy, IV team, radiology, pharmacy, phlebotomy, social services and Rapid Response
Compensation
Up to $2,166 per week
Up to $2,166/week may include taxable wages and applicable non-taxable travel stipends for qualified travelers. Actual compensation may vary based on eligibility, hours worked, and final offer.
