Travel Interventional Radiology Tech – Winston-Salem, NC
Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment with Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.
Job Details
* Specialty: Interventional Radiology

* Duration: 13 weeks
* Schedule: Days, 40 hours/week
* Typical Start: Staggered between 7:00 AM–8:30 AM
* Estimated Weekly Pay: $3,542/week
* Employment Type: Travel Contract
* Call rotation required
Required Experience
* Minimum 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience
* Neuro and stroke IR experience required — hard stop
* Neuro scrub experience required — hard stop
* Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
* Inpatient hospital experience required
* Experience with both Neuro/Stroke and Body IR procedures
Required Certifications
* ARRT (R)
* BLS
* ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
Required Skills Candidates should be experienced with a broad range of IR procedures, including:
* Neuro and stroke interventions
* Thrombolysis/thrombectomy
* Carotid angiography and stenting
* Embolization
* Angioplasty and stent placement
* Upper and lower extremity angiography
* Venous access and port placement
* PICC and central line procedures
* IVC filters
* TIPS
* Nephrostomy and genitourinary procedures
* Biopsies and drainage procedures
* Gastrostomy procedures
* Paracentesis and thoracentesis
* Scrubbing and maintaining a sterile field
Equipment & Systems
* Siemens experience required
* Phillips experience required
* PACS experience required
* Contrast experience required
* Epic and McKesson experience preferred
* Acuson experience preferred
Unit Details
* Adult and geriatric population, with some adolescent patients
* Approximately 13–17 cases per day
* No floating required
* Primary and backup call rotation
* Weekend/evening/night call rotation required
* Scrubs provided
* One pre-approved time-off request
