Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment with Novant Health Rowan Medical Center in Salisbury, North Carolina.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent Cardiac Tele experience
- BLS/BCLS required
- ACLS required
- NIHSS required
- Telemetry experience
- IV starts
- Pre- and post-cardiac procedure experience
- PCI experience
- Cardiac drip management and titration
- Comfortable managing approximately 1:5–6 patients
- First-time travelers may be considered
- Epic/Dimensions experience preferred
Clinical Experience
Candidates should be comfortable caring for patients with:
- CHF
- Dysrhythmias
- Unstable angina and chest pain
- CVA/TIA
- Pacemakers and ICDs
- Cardiac catheterization patients
- TR bands
- Peripheral vascular interventions
- Cardiac drips including Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone
- Stable high-flow oxygen and chronic BiPAP patients
Unit & Scheduling Details
- Fast-paced cardiac and stroke unit
- Every-other-weekend requirement
- Two Mondays and two Fridays during a 6-week scheduling period
- Floating required
- On-call may be required depending on census
- Self-scheduling with leadership oversight
- 36 hours of orientation
- Navy blue or white scrubs
