Nexus MedPro Staffing is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment with Novant Health Forsyth Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC.

Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience
- BLS/BCLS required
- Telemetry experience required
- IV start experience required
- Must pass EKG testing prior to start
- Epic experience strongly preferred
- Orthopedic experience required for Aya 3462877
- NIH required for Aya 3462877
- ACLS preferred
- Charge and Level I Trauma experience preferred
Unit & Clinical Details
- Typical ratios approximately 1:5–6
- May flex higher in exceptional circumstances
- Fast-paced Med/Surg and Telemetry environment
- Patient populations may include:
- Orthopedic and spine patients
- General surgery
- Colorectal surgery
- Hepatobiliary surgery
- Post-surgical patients
- General Med/Surg patients
- Pain-management experience is important
- Epic, Pyxis and SBAR systems
- Floating may be required to other Med/Surg units based on census
Scheduling
- Every-other-weekend requirement
- 36-hour schedule
- Some requisitions may also offer 48 hours
- Block schedule requests may be considered on a case-by-case basis
- RTO must be disclosed before booking
- Holiday RTO restrictions may apply
- Navy blue or white scrubs
