Position Overview
Our client is seeking a PRN OT to provide patient-centered therapy services in the West Bloomfield area and surrounding communities.

This is an ideal opportunity for a OT looking for flexible supplemental work with the ability to grow their caseload over time. The position is expected to begin with approximately one case per week, with additional cases becoming available as our client continues to grow its therapy census.

The ideal candidate is dependable, comfortable working independently in the home health setting, and interested in building a longer-term relationship as patient volume increases.

Responsibilities
Complete OT evaluations and treatment visits in patients' homes
Develop individualized plans of care based on functional needs and goals
Provide therapeutic exercise, gait and mobility training, balance work, strengthening, and other appropriate interventions
Help patients improve mobility, independence, safety, and overall function
Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs and safety
Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Complete accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other members of the care team
Qualifications
Current Michigan OT license
Strong communication and patient-care skills
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible PRN schedule
Reliable transportation for home visits throughout the West Bloomfield area
Home health experience preferred, but not required
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
Schedule & Growth Opportunity
This position will initially carry a light PRN caseload of approximately one case per week, making it a great fit for a OT who already has a primary position or other PRN work.

As our client brings on additional therapy patients throughout West Bloomfield and surrounding communities, the therapist will have the opportunity to take on additional cases and build a larger, more consistent caseload.
