Position: Physical Therapist (PT)
About the Opportunity
Our client is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitation services in the Boston area. This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working with older adults and helping patients improve mobility, strength, independence, and overall quality of life.
Our client is a leading provider of rehabilitation, pharmacy, and wellness services to senior living and post-acute care communities across the United States.
Responsibilities
Evaluate patients and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans
Provide skilled PT services focused on mobility, balance, strength, pain management, and functional independence
Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate
Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation
Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding treatment plans and home programs
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, OT, SLP, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
Maintain compliance with applicable clinical, regulatory, and facility standards
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
Current or eligible Massachusetts Physical Therapist license
Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team
Experience in senior living, skilled nursing, post-acute, or geriatric rehabilitation is preferred but not required
