Monday through Friday, 8 hour days -- call 1-2 weekdays and 1 weekend per month
Average 1 surgery per day
Hospital-based practice focused on pediatric cardiothoracic surgery
Patient mix: 95% pediatric, 4% neonate, 1% adult
Performs complex cardiac procedures including valve repair and coronary bypass
No ER call required
Handles congenital defects and chest wall procedures
100% inpatient practice setting
