Monday through Friday with rotating 1:3 night and weekend call
Service typically no larger than 10 patients at a time
Rounding in morning, typically 2 heart cases per day, 1 thoracic case in afternoon
Typical hours 7am - 3pm with some late cases intermittently
Responsible for rounding, discharge, disposition of care, floor calls/consults
Working in OR for cardiac and thoracic cases
