Description
- 12 hr shifts -- days and nights, rotating weekends
- Day shifts: 8 - 10 patients; nights: 20 - 30 patients
- Level IV NICU setting
- Team-based care -- NNP presents during rounds with team support
- Procedures: intubation, central lines (PICC, UAC, UVC), LP
- Ventilator management required
- Minimum 3 - 5 shifts per month; ideal 6 - 8 shifts per month
- Minimum 2 years of NICU experience required
