• 8-hour shifts average 20 - 24 patients; 9-hour shifts average 25 - 27 patients
• Walk-in patients included -- 4 per shift in addition to prebooked schedule
• Outpatient pediatric clinic setting
• Patient population -- primarily Spanish-speaking, farm-working families
• Age range: 6 months and up
• Scheduling guidelines prevent back-to-back complex visits
