Job Requirements
Education Requirements:
- Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT or PT) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
Certifications Requirements:
- Current BLS certification
- State licensure in Louisiana (or ability to obtain)
Experience Requirements:
- Minimum 0 years of outpatient physical therapy experience
- Outpatient therapy experience preferred, travel therapy experience a plus
Other Requirements:
- Must have outpatient clinical experience—travel experience preferred
- Strong communication skills, teamwork mindset, and adaptability
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Flexibility to work days with a 40-hour workweek

Job Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient physical therapy assessments and treatments to diverse patient populations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and function.
- Document patient progress and adjust therapy plans accordingly.
- Educate patients and families about treatment goals and home programs.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain compliance with facility protocols and safety standards.
- Utilize electronic medical records (EMR) to accurately record services provided.
- Ensure timely and effective patient throughput, maintaining high-quality care standards.
