Description

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Bridgeport, CT
Contract Length: 36 Weeks | Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,250 (Based on Experience)

Connected Health Care is seeking a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join an esteemed Educational Services client in Bridgeport, CT. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to help students develop communication skills and thrive academically.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to integrate speech therapy into the classroom.
  • Provide direct and indirect therapy services, including one-on-one and group sessions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and adjust interventions as needed.
  • Educate and train teachers and families on strategies to support communication development.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Connecticut state licensure as an SLP or eligibility to obtain licensure.
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience working in a school setting is a plus.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
