Job Requirements
  • Education Requirements: Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
  • Certifications Requirements: PTA license in California, CPR certification, and Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of outpatient rehabilitation experience, preferably with diverse patient populations or ages.
  • Other Requirements: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work dayshift hours, and physical ability to stand and assist patients for extended periods.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide outpatient physical therapy services to diverse patient populations, assessing mobility, developing treatment plans, and implementing therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment progress, and discharge summaries in compliance with facility policies.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, injury prevention, and health maintenance methods.
  • Execute specialized rehabilitation procedures tailored to individual patient needs while adhering to safety and quality standards.
