Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; additional radiologic technology education preferred.
  • Certifications Requirements: ARRT(R) certification.
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1 year of x-ray experience, preferably in a trauma center setting; open to strong new grads with robust clinical experience.
  • Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts, strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments, and physical stamina to handle long shifts.

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate and timely x-ray imaging in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
  • Collaborate with physicians and medical staff to determine appropriate imaging procedures.
  • Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
  • Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic medical record.
  • Execute post-procedure care and ensure patient comfort and safety during imaging processes.
