Local Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Rapid City, SD
13-Week Contract | Up to $1,800/Week DOE

Connected Health Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a local travel contract in Rapid City, South Dakota. This opportunity is perfect for COTAs who want to make a difference in a close-knit community while enjoying the flexibility of travel work and the scenic beauty of the Black Hills region.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans

  • Support patients in developing or regaining daily living and work skills

  • Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team

  • Provide hands-on care under the direction of the supervising OT

  • Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs

  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety procedures

Education & Certification Requirements:

  • Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

  • Active South Dakota COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)

  • NBCOT certification required

  • Current BLS certification

  • Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred
