Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse program
• Certifications Requirements: Valid LPN license, CPR certification, BLS certification
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of outpatient clinic experience, mental health experience preferred, experience with drug screening procedures
• Other Requirements: Ability to work independently, strong communication skills, patience and compassion, ability to supervise detainees in a clinical setting

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality outpatient nursing care to detainees in a clinical setting, ensuring safety and compliance with facility protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate patient care, especially for individuals with mental health disorders.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and drug screen procedures.
• Manage supervision of detainees during medication administration and specimen collection.
• Execute patient education and health promotion activities tailored to mental health and outpatient needs.
