Location: Carrington, North Dakota

Shift: Nights, 4x12s (48 hours/week)

Position Overview

Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a long?term care/skilled nursing facility in Carrington, ND. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with geriatric populations, providing consistent, relationship?based care in a smaller community setting.

You’ll work night shift on a 4x12 schedule (48 hours per week), supporting residents with chronic and post?acute needs alongside a stable, collaborative care team.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents in a long?term care/skilled nursing environment.
• Complete comprehensive assessments and update care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Administer medications and treatments safely and in accordance with facility policies.
• Monitor residents for changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to providers.
• Support ADLs, restorative care, and chronic disease management for geriatric residents.
• Maintain accurate, timely charting in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Partner with CNAs and other staff to ensure a safe, supportive environment for residents and families.

Minimum Requirements

• License:
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Dakota or compact RN license in good standing.
• Experience:
  • Minimum 1–2 years of recent RN experience in long?term care, skilled nursing, or a similar geriatric setting.
  • Prior travel experience is a plus but not required.
• Certifications:
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) required.
• Other:
  • Comfortable working night shift on a 4x12 schedule with rotating weekends.
  • Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for working with the geriatric population.
