Travel Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist – 13-Week Contract – Critical Access Hospital
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Scientist (MT/CLS) for a 13-week travel assignment at a highly respected critical access facility. This contract offers competitive pay, a full 40-hour workweek, and free housing provided by the hospital, making it an excellent opportunity for an MT/CLS looking to expand their skills in a supportive rural healthcare environment.
Job Description
-
Perform a full range of laboratory tests including hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, blood bank, and microbiology

Conduct accurate specimen collection, processing, and analysis

Utilize and maintain laboratory instruments, ensuring proper calibration and troubleshooting

Perform phlebotomy as required for patient testing

Interpret and report laboratory results in accordance with regulatory standards

Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient diagnosis and treatment

Ensure compliance with CLIA, CAP, and facility quality control procedures

Maintain detailed documentation and follow laboratory safety protocols
Education & Certification Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field

ASCP or AMT certification strongly preferred. Montana License is required.

Previous experience in a clinical laboratory setting required

Phlebotomy experience is mandatory

Strong organizational, technical, and communication skills
