Travel Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist – 13-Week Contract – Rural Nebraska
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Sonographer / Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a highly reputable critical access hospital in rural Nebraska. Job Description
-
Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and small parts imaging
-
Operate ultrasound equipment and ensure proper functioning and image optimization
-
Prepare and position patients to obtain accurate and comprehensive diagnostic images
-
Collaborate with radiologists and physicians regarding findings and exam follow-up
-
Maintain detailed patient charts, reports, and imaging records in accordance with facility standards

Ensure compliance with all safety, infection control, and regulatory guidelines
-
Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients of all ages
-
Support cross-functional clinical workflows within the critical access setting
Education & Certification Requirements
-
Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
-
RDMS, RVT, or relevant ARDMS certifications preferred
-
Minimum of 1+ years of professional ultrasound experience required

Current BLS certification
-
Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in a rural hospital environment
