Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – 8-Week Contract
Location: Columbia, MO
Schedule: 3x12-Hour Night Shifts
Contract Length: 8 Weeks
Facility: 39-Bed Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Hospital
Agency: Connected Health Care
Connected Health Care is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for an 8-week contract at a reputable LTAC hospital in Columbia, MO. This role is ideal for RRTs who excel in critical care and enjoy working in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.
Please note: RRT candidates only — CRTs will not be considered.
Position Highlights:
• Fast-paced critical care environment
• Night shift: 3x12s

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a clinical resource across patient care units
• Respond to Code Blue and Rapid Response events
• Develop and implement individualized care plans
• Perform invasive respiratory procedures
• Administer respiratory medications and therapeutic gases
• Monitor vital signs and patient progress
• Operate and interpret monitoring equipment
• Apply strong clinical judgment in all situations
Requirements:
• Active RRT license
• Minimum of 1 year hospital experience (critical care preferred)
• BLS & ACLS required (training available if needed)
• Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills
• Professional, reliable, and team-oriented
• Detail-driven and adaptable
