Physical Therapist Assistant – Travel Assignment

Job Requirements

Education: Associate’s degree from an accredited PTA program

Certifications: Active Washington PTA license and current CPR certification

Experience: Minimum of two years working as a PTA in a hospital-based environment

Other Requirements: Ability to adapt to shifting caseload needs, communicate effectively with patients and staff, and perform hands-on therapeutic care

Job Responsibilities

Deliver therapeutic interventions to patients in both subacute rehab and outpatient aquatic therapy programs

Work closely with supervising Physical Therapists to carry out individualized treatment plans

Document patient progress in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines

Communicate clearly with the care team to support patient outcomes and recovery goals

Engage patients with hands-on techniques and motivational strategies to enhance functional progress
