Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting or equivalent from an accredited program
• Certifications Requirements: Montana PTA License; BLS certification; CPR certification
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant; experience in rehabilitation settings; familiarity with EMR systems
• Other Requirements: Ability to work Monday through Friday with flexibility for weekends; strong interpersonal skills; physical stamina for daily patient interaction

Job Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions to patients to improve mobility and function.
• Collaborate with supervising therapists to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and therapy activities.
• Monitor patient responses to treatment and report significant changes to the healthcare team.
• Execute patient education sessions to promote understanding of therapy goals and home exercises.
