Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Nursing diploma or associate's degree in nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution
• Certifications Requirements: BLS and ACLS certifications; PALS and TNCC are a plus
• Experience Requirements: At least 1 year of recent med-surg and ER nursing experience; critical access hospital experience preferred
• Other Requirements: Willingness to take ER patients (1-2 per shift); ability to work night shifts; strong critical thinking and communication skills

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg and ER patients, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and update patient care plans
• Maintain accurate and detailed electronic health records using CPSI EMR system
• Execute patient assessments and monitor vital signs, promptly addressing any abnormalities
• Document all patient interactions and treatments in compliance with facility policies
