Local Travel Hospital Staff Educator – South of San Jose, CA

Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,340/week (based on experience)
Connected Health Care is seeking a Local Travel Hospital Staff Educator for a 13-week contract in San Jose, CA. This is a fantastic opportunity for experienced nurse educators to bring their expertise to a dynamic acute care environment while enjoying the unique lifestyle and attractions of the Central Coast.
Job Description:
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate educational programs for hospital staff.
  • Collaborate with department leaders to assess training needs and ensure compliance with hospital policies.
  • Provide ongoing mentorship and support to clinical staff.
  • Facilitate clinical skills training, competency validation, and orientation programs.
  • Monitor and track staff progress and education outcomes.
  • Ensure all educational programs comply with current standards, regulations, and best practices.
Education & Certification Requirements:
  • Successfully completed a nursing program from an accredited institution (e.g., ACEN or CCNE).
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required; Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an educator in an acute care hospital.
  • Healthcare Instructor Certification required.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP certifications within 6 months of hire.
