Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Valid LVN license in the state of Texas.
• Certifications Requirements: CPR/BLS certification, IV certification, and tracheostomy care certification.
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of LVN experience in a long-term care or psychiatric setting.
• Other Requirements: Proficiency in managing g-tubes/enteral feedings, Foley catheters, and tracheostomies; ability to work flexible shifts; strong communication skills.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to residents, accurately assessing their condition and administering medications and treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and update care plans tailored to residents' needs.
• Maintain and monitor g-tubes, Foley catheters, trach care, and other specialized medical devices.
• Document all patient interactions, treatments, and observations in compliance with facility policies and regulations.
• Execute shift-specific duties, including resident rounds, emergency response, and documentation, to ensure continuous and effective care.
