Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Medical Dietetics or Nutrition.
• Certifications Requirements: Registered Dietitian (RD) license in Ohio, Ohio dietitian license, and valid Ohio motor vehicle operator’s license.
• Experience Requirements: Minimum of 2 years of inpatient clinical dietitian experience; hospital setting experience is mandatory.
• Other Requirements: Ability to conduct nutrition assessments, knowledge of medical nutrition therapy, excellent communication skills, and ability to operate electronic medical records.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient nutritional care by conducting assessments, developing, and implementing individualized diet plans.
• Collaborate with medical teams to review patient medical records and determine appropriate nutritional interventions.
• Educate patients and their families on dietary modifications tailored to their health conditions.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting nutrition plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Document all patient contacts accurately and timely within the electronic medical record system, following established guidelines.
