Connected Health Care, a leading recruitment and staffing firm, is partnering with a premier healthcare facility in Rancho Mirage, California to hire an experienced Local Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract. Position Overview
As a Local Travel Mammography Technologist, you will perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography procedures while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards. This role is ideal for technologists with strong mammography experience and a patient-centered approach to care.
Job Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures in accordance with ARRT and state regulations
• Operate mammography imaging equipment safely and effectively
• Ensure accurate patient positioning and optimal image quality
• Maintain radiation safety standards and infection control protocols
• Review physician orders and patient histories prior to imaging
• Provide compassionate patient care and education
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records

Education Requirements

• Graduate of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Graduate of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology

Licensure and Certification Requirements

• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) – Radiology (R)
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license in Radiography and Mammography
• CRT – Mammography
• Breast Ultrasound ARRT certification and/or RDMS Breast Ultrasound certification
• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS)

Experience Requirements

• Required: Experience as a Mammography Technologist
• Preferred: Mammography screening experience
• Desired: Diagnostic technologists with ultrasound experience
