Position: Local Travel Physical Therapist
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Weekly Compensation: Up to $2,400 per week, based on experience
About the Role:
Connected Health Care is partnering with a respected healthcare provider north of Houston, TX, to offer a Travel Physical Therapist position. This 13-week contract role provides a fantastic opportunity for experienced physical therapists seeking stability and a new challenge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and develop personalized treatment plans for patients with physical impairments or disabilities.
- Administer physical therapy treatments and interventions according to established protocols and patient needs.
- Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, exercises, and injury prevention strategies.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with industry practices.
Education & Certification Requirements:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Current Physical Therapy license in Texas or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Board Certification in a specialty area of physical therapy is preferred but not mandatory.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in a clinical or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
