Local Travel Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Belle Fourche, SD
13-Week Contract | Up to $1,800/Week DOE
Connected Health Care is seeking a motivated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a local travel contract in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. This opportunity is perfect for COTAs who want to make a difference in a close-knit community while enjoying the flexibility of travel work and the scenic beauty of the Black Hills region.
Job Responsibilities:

Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans

Support patients in developing or regaining daily living and work skills

Monitor and document patient progress and communicate updates to the therapy team

Provide hands-on care under the direction of the supervising OT
-
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and home programs
-
Ensure compliance with facility policies and safety procedures
Education & Certification Requirements:
-
Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
-
Active South Dakota COTA license (or eligibility to obtain)
-
NBCOT certification required
-
Current BLS certification
-
Previous experience in a clinical or rehab setting preferred
