Job Requirements

• Education Requirements: Valid LPN or RN license in Illinois
• Certifications Requirements: IL RN License, CPR Certification, IV Certification, Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Experience Requirements: At least 2 years of corrections experience
• Other Requirements: Ability to work night shifts, strong communication skills, ability to handle high-stress situations

**Job Responsibilities** - Provide comprehensive nursing care to detainees, including assessments, medication administration, and emergency response procedures. - Collaborate with correctional staff and healthcare providers to develop and implement individualized care plans. - Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in accordance with facility policies and legal requirements. - Monitor detainee health status regularly, identifying and addressing urgent health issues promptly. - Execute health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for staff and inmates.
