Clinical Pharmacist - Critical Access Hospital

Valentine, Nebraska - Travel Contract or Permanent Position

Job Requirements

  • Education Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or Hospital Pharmacy Administration or PharmD
  • Certifications Requirements: Nebraska Pharmacist License, Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Experience Requirements: Minimum of 1.5 years inpatient / acute care pharmacy experience in a hospital setting. Experience mixing chemo drugs HIGHLY preferred.
  • Other Requirements: Must possess strong communication skills, ability to work independently, adaptability to fast-paced environments

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient pharmacy services to ensure safe and effective medication use in the hospital setting.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and review patient medication therapy plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of medication dispensing and drug administration activities.
  • Execute medication inventory management, including ordering, stock rotation, and quality checks.
  • Support on-call rotations, responding to urgent medication needs and queries as required.
