Up to $2,550 per Week | 13-Week Contract
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Connected Health Care, a trusted healthcare recruitment and staffing firm, is partnered with a well-regarded Long-Term Care and Rehabilitation facility in Grapevine, Texas to hire a Local Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) for a 13-week assignment. This opportunity offers competitive weekly compensation, a consistent weekday schedule, and the chance to work in a highly desirable Dallas–Fort Worth area location.
Position Overview
The Occupational Therapist will provide patient-centered therapy services in a long-term care and post-acute rehabilitation setting, focusing on improving residents’ independence, safety, and ability to perform activities of daily living.
Occupational Therapist Job Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for LTC and rehab patients
- Provide therapeutic interventions focused on activities of daily living and functional mobility
- Train patients in adaptive techniques and use of assistive equipment
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately and timely
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
- Educate patients and caregivers on safety strategies and home exercise programs
- Maintain compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and professional standards
- Master’s or Doctorate Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Texas Occupational Therapist license
- Current CPR or BLS certification
- Experience in Long-Term Care or Rehabilitation settings preferred
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
- 13-week local travel contract
- Weekly compensation up to $2,550, based on experience
- Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- No weekend requirements
