Local Travel Ultrasound Technician – West of Albuquerque, NM

This position offers competitive weekly compensation up to $2,700 based on experience and is ideal for ultrasound professionals seeking a short-term assignment with strong clinical variety.
Assignment Details

Location: East of Gallup, New Mexico
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Schedule: Full-time
Weekly Pay: Up to $2,700 based on experience

Job Description
The Ultrasound Technician will perform a wide range of diagnostic ultrasound procedures while delivering high-quality patient care in a clinical setting.

Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with physician orders
Conduct OB, General, Vascular, and Breast ultrasound studies
Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during exams
Accurately document findings and communicate results to the care team
Maintain ultrasound equipment and follow imaging protocols
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Required Experience

OB Ultrasound experience
General Ultrasound experience
Vascular Ultrasound experience
Breast Ultrasound experience

Education and Certification Requirements

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
Active ARDMS certification required
Current BLS certification
Ability to work in New Mexico
